In the center of downtown San Francisco and just steps away from the California Cable Car turnaround, the 26-story, 499-room Holiday Inn Golden Gateway offers fantastic city views. Located in the Pacific Heights neighborhood, all rooms were completely renovated in Spring 2001. It is close to everything: Two miles southeast of the Golden Gate Bridge, one mile south of Fisherman's Wharf/Pier 39, one mile west of the shopping in Union Square and one mile north of City Hall/Civic Center. Restaurant and lounge located on the lobby level. Exercise room and outdoor heated pool. Abundant shopping, ding and entertainment choices, all within walking distance.
Guestrooms are presented in a traditional décor with fantastic views of the bay and the city. A full American breakfast is available as well as California cuisine for lunch and dinner. How to go to Holiday Inn Golden Gateway Hotel
From San Francisco Airport:
Depart Airport, follow Highway 101 North to Mission Street Exit. Turn right at exit and go down one block and turn left on Van Ness. Holiday Inn is approximately 1 1/2 miles down on the right.
From Oakland Airport or Bay Bridge:
Depart
Airport, take Hagenberger East to 880 North. Continue on 880 North, which connects to 80 W Bay Bridge. Take 80 W across Bay Bridge ($2 toll) to Fremont Street Exit. Turn left on Pine Street. Go approximately 15 blocks to Van Ness and turn right.
