Commodore Hotel Information
The Commodore Hotel is a 3 star, multi-story hotel, located at 825 Sutter Street, at the corner of Jones Street, three blocks west of Union Square. The New York Times writes, "The Commodore Hotel" is four blocks-all of them lined with interesting shops-from Union Square. Newly renovated with a large mural depicting a San Francisco street map in the lobby, the rooms are comfortable and spacious." Originally built in 1928, the hotel offers a beautiful, yet fun, high-domed lobby in Art Deco style.
The guest rooms are well appointed featuring all modern amenities that are sure to please even the most discerning traveler. The hotel staff is friendly, helpful, and is willing to do all they can to make your stay pleasurable. The Titanic cafe is the on-site restaurant; open daily from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM for breakfast and lunch. Also, located next door to the hotel is the Red Room bar open from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM. It is very popular with the local "In Crowd" and is known for its Cosmopolitans. The hotel is minutes to fine dining, shopping and entertainment.
