Union Square Hotel Information
The Union Square is a superior, tourist class hotel, located on the historic antique cable-car line, in the heart of the city's shopping haven. Built in 1913 for the Pan American Exposition, the building holds a nostalgic and impressive history. Awakened by a dynamic, bold and current interior, contemporary European furnishings are energized by colorful and theatrical fabrics. Infused with bold and contemporary interiors, rooms have three distinct color palettes, alternating on each floor and incorporating deep rich colors of claret, eggplant, golden yellows, and, ochre greens. These colors are paired with modern cherry wood cabinetry that introduces linear and wavelike lines.
Influenced by current European concepts, the result is sophisticated yet casual. The walls, upholstery, and bedding lend a colorful backdrop to original artwork depicting San Francisco's most celebrated scenes. Gladys Perint Palmer, a renowned fashion illustrator, was commissioned to create original canvas drawings exclusively for the Hotel Union Square. The hotel is minutes from fine dining, shopping and entertainment. The hotel has a no-party policy in all rooms.

Take the US-101 N/I-380 W ramp towards I-280/San Francisco/San Bruno, keep left at the fork in the ramp. Merge onto I-80 E. Bear right onto 7th St. Turn right onto Market St., bear left onto Powell St. Follow Powell St. as it bears right.
